As expected, the United States is setting its sights on Captain Ibrahim Traor\u00e9 of Burkina Faso, and this time, it seems they\u2019re ready to take it further than ever before. This attack isn\u2019t coming from just anyone \u2014 it’s coming directly from the head of the U.S. Africa Command, General Michael Langley. General Langley has accused Captain Traor\u00e9 of the unthinkable: using Burkina Faso\u2019s gold reserves for personal protection rather than for the benefit of the people.<\/p>

We all know this accusation couldn\u2019t be further from the truth. Unfortunately, we’ve seen this tired old script before. Think back \u2014 you don\u2019t even have to think hard \u2014 to how powerful American figures have historically painted African leaders as corrupt, selfish, and dangerous to their own people. History Repeats Itself: Remember Gaddafi?<\/h1>

Have you read this script before? I’m sure it rings a bell. Remember what President Obama did to Libya\u2019s leader, Muammar Gaddafi? We were bamboozled. We, the people, failed Gaddafi because we bought into the propaganda. Libya bought into it too. But this is 2025 \u2014 we know better now<\/strong>.<\/p>

The Western world should know we\u2019re no longer asleep. This time, it\u2019s not happening under our watch \u2014 especially not under the watchful eyes of the Burkinab\u00e8 people, who have shown nothing but love, admiration, and loyalty<\/strong> to Captain Ibrahim Traor\u00e9.<\/p>

When there\u2019s even a rumor of a coup, Burkinab\u00e8 citizens surround Traor\u00e9\u2019s home to protect their leader<\/strong>. They know what he\u2019s doing for them. And we\u2019re about to dive into exactly what Captain Traor\u00e9 has accomplished<\/strong> \u2014 and why the U.S. accusations are pure nonsense.<\/p>

But first, let’s address a major event that just unfolded.<\/p>

A Coup Attempt in Burkina Faso \u2014 Again<\/h1>

\"\"Just a day ago, Burkina Faso\u2019s military government announced that it had foiled a major plot<\/strong> to overthrow Captain Ibrahim Traor\u00e9.<\/p>

Security Minister Mahamoudou Sana, speaking on state television, revealed that the plot involved current and former soldiers<\/strong> as well as terrorist leaders<\/strong>. The conspirators planned to storm the presidential palace on April 16<\/strong> \u2014 conveniently, at the same time General Langley was accusing Traor\u00e9 of misusing gold reserves.<\/p>

Authorities stated that the coup attempt aimed to create total chaos<\/strong> and place Burkina Faso under the supervision of an international organization<\/strong>. The instigators are believed to be operating out of Ivory Coast<\/strong>.<\/p>

This is just the latest in a long line of efforts to topple Captain Traor\u00e9, who came to power after a 2022 coup. Since then, despite pledges to fight jihadist groups and seeking security support from Russia, around 40% of the country remains under jihadist control.<\/p>

Last week, several ministry officials were already arrested for allegedly plotting to destabilize the government. Clearly, someone wants Traor\u00e9 out \u2014 and it’s not the Burkinab\u00e8 people.<\/strong><\/p>
